For the launch of the Queen’s Baton Relay for the Commonwealth Games in 2017 and 2021, we delivered a stage fit for royalty within the front grounds of Buckingham Palace. Across both one-day events, the ceremony saw Queen Elizabeth II officially open the Games from the main stage, passing the lit baton to the attending athlete. We supplied a 12m x 8m main stage arc roof structure with a custom clear roof, along with all platforms and decking. The installation also included athlete entrance ramps, press risers, and dedicated camera platforms, ensuring the event was seamlessly presented for both live audiences and global broadcast.
