At the tail end of lockdown in 2021, we were approached by The Outdoor Cinema Company to deliver a complete technical solution for a planned UK tour. Following extensive consultation and planning, a concept was developed to service 14 prestigious locations nationwide, each designed to host audiences of up to 1,000 for screenings of both classic films and the latest releases. Freelove Group was responsible for creating a fully mobile, self-contained setup built around five custom-branded 20ft shipping containers, designed to house two 6.5m x 4m video walls, all associated rigging, and essential logistical site equipment. We supported the procurement and branding of the containers before fitting them out at our Stevenage, Hertfordshire warehouse, preparing them for tour deployment. The concept was successfully delivered across four sites; however, following a change in direction from the client, the tour was ultimately brought to an early close.
