For over 10 years, we have worked in partnership with the events team at the British Medical Association, supplying a wide range of equipment and services to support their diverse programme of private and corporate events. Collaborating with a team of 10 event professionals, each with their own creative vision, no two events are the same, requiring flexible and tailored solutions on every project. Our equipment provision has included a variety of dance floors such as black and white chequerboard, parquet, white and black LED, and traditional white finishes, alongside stage extension decking, discos, uplighting, moving head lighting, PA systems, large format TVs, projectors, and projection screens—ensuring each event is delivered to a high standard with the appropriate technical and visual impact.
Whilst the majority of projects delivered at this venue were for private clients, one stood apart as a moment of national significance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the number of deaths rose rapidly, we were asked to prepare a projection with global media coverage. Positioned in the courtyard of the British Medical Association, our team installed and readied the projection systems in advance. On January 26, 2021, when it was confirmed that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the United Kingdom had surpassed 100,000, the projectors were activated—marking a powerful and widely broadcast moment of reflection.
